CAB SIMULATOR- SHIFTLINE A+ CabZone LE ...PLAY A COMBO? ....DON'T MISS THIS!!!

 SHIFTLINE  A+ CabZone LE
$100.00 USD
a total steal!!!

I reviewed this box over 3 months ago and ordered it that
same day. It was shipped within 24 hours from the company in St Petersburg Russia ...but it only arrived today!
"W.T.F."  you say!!!  LOL
This is happening world wide because of the C19 thing.
Was it worth the wait? Damn right!

So here's the deal. A lot of guys are using ir's instead of a mic to send back to the sound system. They are still hearing there own cab but the majority of the audience hears the Cab Sim ir. It is impressively effective.
Amps like the new Revv amps have a box like this built in and so does Suhr.

BIG BUT
There is a blurry video of the Cab Zone in Russian with bad subtitles hosted by a total tech head showing both the usual way it is used as an ir to a recording mixer or to replace a mic out to the the sound reinforcement system. He also showed what is a secondary feature of this box with the ir in the effects loop of an amp. He had a few small beefs about headroom and the matching on the effects send etc. But he thought it was very impressive just the same.
SO in short you can run it in the effects send/return thru your Combo amp!
The box has a bypass and 8 speaker cab choices for guitar and 2 for bass
...many are the world's best 4x12 cabs ...and they are KILLER!!!

THINK ABOUT IT
You have a combo ...maybe even something not very special. But it sounds not too bad with that killer Marshall Amp-in-a-Box pedal you have.
So you get this box put it on you amp then you click on your OD....
you lift your hand to slam a power chord and ....
I'll tell right now you better be sitting down when you hit that chord! LOL

OK... this video only shows it going thru the equivalent of a Sound system/recording system so you are hearing an ideal sound not your Combo's speaker. You could get the equivalent with the NEW Celestion FX12-X200 which is designed to respond like a normal guitar Celestion but reproduce a modeled sound. An ir is a modeled sound.
I just put it thru a single 12" open back with a Celestion Neo Creamback that I was already using and I was blown away with the results!
But you get a good idea of the sounds. The biggest difference is your guitar amp will add some beef to the sound. It will also colour the sound but not in a drastic way. No more than a great dirt pedal that sounds impressive in any amp but in few amps even better.

THE 8 GUITAR CABS
73 Fender Twin Reverb
Marshall 1960
Vox AC30
Supro Thunderbolt *
Orange PPC 412
Peavey 5150
Engl E412SGB *
MESA 4x12 Recto Standard *

My fave is the MESA ...on some guitars and some tunes it was total overkill but the Engl worked great for those tunes.
I think if were to put an acoustic thru it I may use the bypass.
My Washburn semi-acoustic 335 wannabe may work better through the 73 Fender Twin Reverb I will try that soon.
The Supro Thunderbolt 'ir' teamed up with my Supro Drive pedal is killer!

CONCLUSION
The box is smaller than a MXR Phase 90 box. It weighs zero.
BUT it is really well made in every way totally Pro. It takes a standard 9 or 18v power supply.
You can download third party ir's so you have hundreds to choose from. I am happy with what's in it.
It sits nicely on top of your amp if you want. I do not have a effects send and return so I run it straight in and I am not having any problem.

What pedal can you turn on and leave on and makes every tune incredibly better?
Even for some crazy reason you were not knocked out you now have a Pro way
to feed a big sound system ...a great direct way to record and a headphone amp for practice!!!

HANDS ON
I have used it at  rehearsals. I use a Marshall 50 watt Plexi going into open back pine cab with Marshalls lightest speaker ...the Celestion G12 Neo Creamback. I had  to make a few adjustments to my amp's EQ and settings on my OD's.
It is not the same as a real 4x12 simply because you are not standing in front of 4x12" speakers moving a lot of air!
BIG BUT
I use a wireless so I can stand where the audience would be and
the illusion of hearing a full stack is to die for!!! The sound has an incredible girth.
Not only that your whole tone has a face lift
If you play a combo and want your first pedal, buy a good OD
then when you buy a second pedal buy an A+ CabZone LE.

At $100.00 USD it is no brainer. Just get one!!!
