I expect we will see a lot more 'Artist Series' pedals since on last count 

the Dunlop branch had 14 signature  Cry Baby pedals. I won't even bring up signature Fuzz Face pedals. 

Except to mention Rage Against the Machine where ol' Tom made his biggest splash I won't enter into the guys illustrious career. Enough to say his 'only rig' has always been a 50 watt Marshall JCM800 going thru a Peavey VTM 4x12 and the pedal was designed to capture that specific sound.

CONCLUSION

It has a lot of aggression. It is very bright with a lot of upper mids and highs. It ain't no Plexi with the hefty lows and lower mids. I would not describe it as fat or heavy. Still it set out to nail a sound and has. 

I can only praise or knock it for doing something poorly 

or bullsh@ting what it is. Bottom line ... It's a good OD.
