From the shop of Marco Bevelli come 2 classic Fuzz pedals in a box. They are both the same. They are both different. The classic Fuzz Face is quite simply a Tonebender Mk1.5. Yes a few changes but only in the values of some of the parts not the schematic. The Fuzz Face was designed by taking a Tonebender 1.5 and changing a few values of things like resistors etc.

Ol' Marco spent some time at Macaris/Solasound home of the Tonebender to learn his craft and has now stepped out on his own to make his own pedals. Needless to say he never strays faraway from NOS parts and traditional spec in his wire and off course his enclosure.

The layout is simple with volume, gain and a switch to choose the two voices.

CONCLUSION

What's not to like. This is about as close as most of us will get to the original classics. Both in the look and sound. I have to admit the casing is the closer
