WHICH CLONE IS WHAT? .... a complete list? ...No but one hell a of a long one.

            CLONE WARS
There are several companies in China that mainly make clones of famous Pedals both new and old MOOER, JOYO, BIYANG, NUX, MOEN and MOSKY/MOGOO.

There are dozens of other brands but except for a very few they are simply re-brands.
THE ABOVE NAMES ARE THE RE-BRAND BARONS
Except MOGOO they make actual forgeries.lol
The good news is that MOGOO do the best job of cloning the sound too.
MOSKY and MOGOO are tied together eventually the MOGOO pedals are repackaged in new boxes and sold as MOSKY pedals.

Using Mooer as the biggest of the makers of re-brands they simply reproduce the buyers logo over the casing of one of their brands and crank them out by the hundreds on the exact same assembly line with the exact same circuit board with the exact same parts.

$21.00 USD
$88.00 USD

So you can see by these two samples why you should take advantage of this practice.
The knob is changed and so are the printing and graphics.
Like I said Mooer does about 20 others. A few are in different casings.
So of note is the DC jack for the power supply it is in the center. If isn't it is not a Mooer. Other brands will be either a bit to the left or right of this top panel.
The LED light will not be in the same place and neither will be the switches.
Finally the jacks on the sides will be located in a different place.
In this example they are the same color but that is unusual.
The best prices at the moment are on the Rowin pedals. They also use a different box on some of them. Still others like Tom's Line are put in Mooer's tuner box.
But the holes to pop the pots and put in switches and jacks are identical so the same guts fits in in one piece.

SO BELOW  ...is a picture of most of the Mooer pedals and what it is a copy of. You can pick out what the pedal is a clone of and then go on Ebay, Amazon and AliExpress and match it up and buy it as a rebrand.

TIPS
Make sure when you find the cheaper Pedal that the new name seems either similar or suggests the Mooer name. Also be sure it has the same number and placement of all the knobs and switches on the top of the pedal.
If you can find the brands own web site compare it to the features and purpose with the Mooers web sites descriptions.
Also in most cases there will be a Youtube video of both the Mooer pedal and the original.
Some will be close or as pleasing. Others will just not be either and worse still have a weak, thin, or muddy sound. A handful will sound totally pro and as your budget and expectations start you on some of the better pedals from the west if you choose wisely you can save replacing the Mooer copies indefinitely.

  1. Apparently they have added a new line that comes with an upcharge: Smiger. They are reprints of the Kmise pedals at twice the price... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001057369026.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.749b2048CvWAWo&algo_pvid=74d8a97a-7de5-4b05-aa76-9b9ba84c51a3&algo_exp_id=74d8a97a-7de5-4b05-aa76-9b9ba84c51a3-4&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000020499289414%22%7D&pdp_pi=-1%3B54.12%3B-1%3BUSD+32.63%40salePrice%3BUSD%3Bsearch-mainSearch
