When Tim first brought out this accurate clone of a Ram's Head a long time ago when no one especially Electro Harmonix did not know he even existed. LOL 

Well ol' Tim has grown a little since then and thanks to some of you guys ...and every guy you gave a 'heads' up to (pun intended lol) things have changed. 

Tims pedals have always and still use either the very best parts or NOS where necessary.

BUT! But now they look as good as they sound.

I used a Rams Head in the 70's looooong before it got that name! Back then a Muff and a cry Baby Wah were it. You didn't need a pedal board!!! lol So I know what the damn thing should sound like ...And Tim has nailed it!!!

CONCLUSION
This was the first of the Big Muff's that set the rules. All Muff's after this did not change so much as morphed into a new one. If the parts were available in very large quantities the only thing EH would have changed is the paint job. In short this is the fuzz that was NEVER broke so it did not need to be fixed. A perfect repro by a guy that is dedicated and as skilled as Tim is the way to go.
The only thing I don't understand is why Tim insists on making a buck an hour just so you can afford the best. lol
OK ...OK...I had my fun but really guys I am not exaggerating.
