OVERDRIVE/TREMOLO- CRAZY TUBE CIRCUITS Killer V ...Magnatone amp in a box

$210.00 USD
 CRAZY TUBE CIRCUITS KILLER V
Magnatone didn't event the vibrato but they built the first one in
an amp and it was excellent . Bo Diddley had his first big hit with it
and the amp went viral. Fender did not yet have an amp with at so
they were forced to jump in. Soon most amp companies joined in
and it spawned a host of copies. Many started using the new JFET
tanistors and got the first of the tube sounding solid state amps.
Crazy Tube Circuits took ideas from the best and made a pedal that captures that sound.
The layout is Volume, Master Bass and treble. It has a 3 way switch
with a Brite ,Normal and Mellow control. You can activate the vibrato from a footswitch. You have the usual depth and speed pots.
A swtch allows you to run the whole signal thru in a standard way or you can run the signal split with the effect operating behind the straight sound. A wet/dry effect.
CONCLUSION
To be fair maybe it is just me but it is a nasty but nice pedal that the vibrato good or bad seems out of place. There are 3 other video's but they are all approaching the pedal the same way. Nothing new added. Bottom line I am personally not impressed. I would interested in a good vibrato pedal but with all that gritty dirt I have no idea if it has one.
I love gritty dirt pedals but I find this one a bit caustic and there are better ones.
