A kind of a EVH 5150 III-in-a-Box and the signature pedal of Joe Dupantier. The essential Death Metal sound? I heard Joe complaining that the his band Gojira has to sometimes travel light without their amps with them and what is supplied at the shows are not just poor choices but even irrelevant ones. This may be his extra light fly rig :-)

It has a straight forward layout with volume, gain, treble and bass.

CONCLUSION

It is not so unlike other 5150 pedals like even the budget friendly AMT P-Drive. 

It is however perhaps tighter but it still has a big sound with plenty of lows. 

It is more genre specific. The AMT you can back off into more of a 

MIAB thing or push it into Death Metal or a Thrash thing.
