We do have a Bluesbreaker ...but the JHS Morning Glory started out as
as one and morphed into a unique pedal. Perhaps we have a clone or as likely the marketing boys named the pedal. Calling a pedal that even vaguely sounds like a popular high end pedal sells!!! Yes folks we are all suckers ...myself included LOL
The layout seems simple with drive, level and tone but if you press hold the footswich for a moment it turns on a very nice chimey boost in the highs.
CONCLUSION
It is vaguely Morning Glory only because the JHS is vaguely Bluesbreaker. On the other hand in spite of the really Bluesbreaker having a weak high end the NUX sounds more Bluesbreaker like with the 'shine' switch on. The sound of the NUX is pro and highly usable.
I find it a bit blah! On the other hand I find the Morning Glory at it's best
with all the extras turned off.
JHS now makes the 3 Series of budget pedals ...all $100 ea. The OD is a stripped down Morning Glory. Since a lot of bricks and motor stores
sell them I recommend you try one.
