After almost forgetting the company I returned to see what is new.
Check out my Post on the CONTROLER a killer OD.
Not only are the Doom, Sludge, Drone, Death Metal Stoner guys scooping up the 'Robot' but when the Fuzz aficionado have this down as a 'Must Have' you will always get my attention.
Andrew and his wife Tori have another winner. Andrew is the lead singer and guitarist for Senium. He is a player ..and a damn good one. Listen to how articulate his playing is on the Controler Post. He has great timing and composition and refraining from a lot of gimmicky flash (unlike me! lol)
Best of all when a builder has a few chops you get a real 'players' pedal
not a special FX type Fuzz for the hobbyist, expressionist or sound track artist who does not have an audience watching and listening and wanting to
hear a great tune.
The layout has a Master, Gain and Octave for control of the octave up
effect and OSC which is a sweepable tone control moving the boost
thru the spectrum...this is foot switchable. In fact the v.1 was perfect
The foot switch is the only difference. A great idea!
If it ain't broke don't fix it. So what you hear on the demo is whatcha get!!!
CONCLUSION
You get all those wall of sound crushing sounds of many Doom and like genres Fuzz boxes that are exciting but those pedals have a mushy attack and lack serious articulation. The best part is the Robot has all the articulation of the best OD's.
At the same time you get an affordable price!
I went back the next day and I click the 'store' button and it would not open.
I went back the third day ...and body of the site was full of ads from the site
provider even though the 'header' still said Mid Valley
