Several sources say it is a BOSS DS-1 clone other say it is a Rat. But, since a BOSS SD-1 is based on the ol' RAT who cares,😇.
The layout is Volume, Gain and Tone.
__ CONCLUSION __
It is definitely a very high gain pedal. On the up side it does
a great wall of sound with near endless sustain. It gets rid
of the hiss and fizz that the Boss has. The lows are very weak
to the point if you go for all lows the output can be lower
than your clean sound. Then there is the always on Gate
that you can love or hate.
Big But! It could be stacked on a good OD with a rich Crunch
but only modest sustain but great tone to take a pedal
you already own into Never-Everville.
