Yes it is a cross between a Tune Screamer and a Klon. Knowing roughly how they are both made I would say 

the clean boost in the Klon is what is added. It is what gives this pedal it's unusually good breadth. 

The layout is as expected Volume, Tone & Gain.

                  CONCLUSION __

I think it is a very good fresh 

approach to a better transparent 

type OD. It is more its own thing 

than a clone or a marketing gimmick.

I do think it is $100 over priced.
