BUZZ TONE 

It arrived in 1966 at NAMM but not was not in the stores until '67. 

It was in the tiny box you see below that you just inserted in the 

guitars output jack.

The original company went on to making other more profitable 

electronics and abandoned the Buzz Tone. Mahoney went on to 

making it as you see it now and eventually bought the Jordon 

name so they now say Jordan on the pedal.

                  CONCLUSION __

It has its own vibe and is useable as a very effective 

boost if stacked on other dirt boxes. A few companies 

have come and gone that built OD's with this as the 

always on boost part of it.

      

... for a short time it was called the BOSS Tone 

but BOSS pedals lawyers stopped that !
