Boss brought this out in 1997 and it is more popular every year.
A simple unit that nails the basics then lets you sweep from a square
wave to a sine wave for the most 'usable' sounds of the present.
Others do more but unless you are into Shoe Gaze or Star Wars
things test are not a lot of use in a conventional tune.
The layout is Rate, Depth and Wave.

CONCLUSION __
This hits the perfect middle ground both in
features and in a very full rich sound.
If you only wish to use it here and there I
recommend a good Chorus pedal as it can
fill the same space with similar vibe with
it's modulation but is much more versatile.

It is an industry standard. My Boss tremolo was manufactured in 2006.
