The company started in 2012 in Abacete Spain. They offered a handmade 20 and 50 watt amp both as a combo or a head and a series of pedals. The dirt pedals focused on dynamics and feel. I had the Brit style Heartbreaker. It lived up to its promise but the basic overall sound
was a bit thin.Their goal was to have reasonable prices and they have always been about 25% cheaper than average. I have not seen a new pedal for
years so this is an occasion from that alone. What we get is a UniVibe . The layout is Intensity, Speed Level and a toggle for Chorus or Vibe. The original pedal was an attempt to create
a Rotary pedal. It failed to do but they did create a modulation pedal
that is very effected with dirt sounds. Set right the modulation just
melts into the sound. Bad versions do the opposite and make the modulation pump like a Harley Davidson revving at a stop light, lol.
CONCLUSION ___
I use the MXR UniVibe that was the first one to replace the optic
modulation system of the original that used a tiny light bulb
instead of an LED. They left the circuit alone which is dirty
bordering on muddy. It gives you the 'Its Not Broke so don't fix it!!!
dirt sound.' I love the thing!!!So this one is musical and effective but in ordinary Chorus, Flanger
or Phaser kind of way. The price is excellent. But to the point ...nothing replaces my MXR M68 UniVibe.
