OVERDRIVE- ZUTA Distortion ... WTF ...cool or just WTF

$315.00 USD
 ZUTA
DISTORTION   z324
I believe this has had a minor tweak but is v.2 __It is FET
transistor pedal. FETS operate like a tube and the very best OD's, especially those nailing a famous Amp-in-a-Box use them.
The pedal covers the whole range from very
low gain to very high gain with a button that gives you a Classic vintage sound to Modern with more exaggerated
lows and highs. The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain. Mod button is a switch for the 2 basic voices.
Mode is a choice of Gain levels. Contour I expect is a
mids sweep to determine where there is a bit of poke.
   CONCLUSION ___
It is large, pricey and there dozens of other choices. It is however versatile and in effect lets you design your own sound. It also looks dead cool. If you see yourself as a guy with his own sound in a sea of 'Me Toos' it may be a necessary gamble. At the same time your style even if identifiable as uniquely you may require that perfect make, model and year of a MIAB.
The closest equivalent to the ZUTA is the WTF, $770.00 USD Origin Rival Drive. Sooo maybe the ZUTA is the budget equivalent.

ZETA are run by a mad man so it is a case of every
pedal coming out could be the impossibly perfect pedal
for some  or it could be the equivalent to gold plated
toilet paper to others. This one is the surprise athlete
that barely was allowed in the Olympics but one
first place. 😕
