It is of course an Earthquaker clone. An old trick decades ago was to turn your Fender spring Reverb up to full and use the bloom on the tail of the decay as a kind of spacey single repeat/slap back delay sound. The pedal takes that sound and lets you exaggerate it a kind of modern ambience reverb thing. 

The layout is Attack which is a pre-delay, the Depth is fattens the sound and the Dwell controls the length and thickness. 

CONCLUSION __

It is not an effect made by several to compare with. 

Is it better, worse or the same as the Earthquaker??? 

It is more of a special effect than what I think of as

an effect. In short I don't think it matters. 

You either think its cool and want one or not. 

You hardly need one to get some cool 

sound that your favorite Star uses,😟.
