From Australia Terry brings us a take on a Pete Cornish GC-1 OD a high gain crunch with active EQ.

Pete Cornish made custom pedals, racks and boards etc. for Tony Iommi, Paul McCartney, Pete Townshend, Mark Knopfler, Brian May, Eric Clapton, Sting, 

Allan Holdsworth, Robert Fripp, Andy Summers and most notable about a 

dozen or two things for Dave Gilmour. He will make one for you for $600.00 USD. The waiting list is a year minimum. The list is of guitar heroes is much, much longer but this is long enough to impress me, LOL.

The layout is Volume, Gain with active Treble, Mids and Bass. 

CONCLUSION ___

It has a shearing bright sound that you only hear on the best tube amps. 

It does indeed sound like the Pete Cornish but oddly enough my first 

impression is the Devtech has more headroom and range. It has 

two fixed gain stages so it goes from a transparent clean OD to 

a much grittier high gain.

It is damn impressive if for nothing but stacking or boosting. 

It can add a powerful punch yet keep the signals 

clarity in tact. The price is more than fair!!!

 ....it is at the top of my short list!!!
