It appears to be an innovative medium to higher gain pedal in its approach. The layout is active Level, Bass and Treble. It has however a bandpass filter. A Wah is in effect a band pass filter. A second filter is an all pass filter, it is in effect a phase shifter, but in this pedal it is for tone and does not have a modulation thing sweeping through it.
CONCLUSION___ if you are a set and forget guy with your dirt pedals there is one dirt pedal or another that will give you that one sound with more than enough tweaking to further nail it. Probably a lot cheaper than this too.
This is the kind of pedal one expects some kind of input for an expression pedal to use the filters expressively. Or if it had
memory it could be useful to use all the crazy sounds.
It has too little to make use of what it can do, and
too pricy to just set and forget.
