Nothing earth shattering. Joyo have several series of pedals. This is in their vintage Series. When they started ...it, was it. There were no Series. They found that since all of us like a cheap good clone of a classic than they simply kept making them. They virtually discounted the price over time by NOT raising it. They now add a couple of pedals to it every year. Some say its a Muff but the Tonebender v4 was accused of that because 

it stopped using germanium transistors and used silicon. This has huge mids. A real Muff has scooped mids. 

The layout is the obvious Gain, Volume and Tone. 

CONCLUSION_________

Joyo have improved measurably over the years & now they are virtually a Chinese, MXR. They sound very good even if not killer and they are well made and dependable.
