This pedal deserves a serious second look. 

When this guy started his gourmet pedal company in 2010 he was not just diving into the deep end but diving into one with sharks. Who was going to buy his pedals from China for $75 when everyone new MIC was total junk, lol. Now we buy an Epiphone guitars for over a thousand and cry if they are sold out.

This is V.5 of the original pedal and often very hard to get. It is a high gain OD meant to emulate the vibe most go for from the various 

gourmet high gain American amps. The layout is Volume, Tone

and Gain. It has a toggle for gain stages and another 

for a choice of clipping diodes. 

CONCLUSION ___ 

It sounds damn impressive and the company has a rep 

of great dynamics from their OD's. What really impresses 

me you can get very bell like tones and chime from a Strat. 

Most Amp-in-a-Box pedals can not. Yes you may get a glassy 

sound but that Sultans of Swing or the Hendrix like bell tone is 

gone even before you hit a Crunch gain.

HANDS ON ___  

The pedal arrived and it took about a half hour but I found 

a very good early Hendrix Strat thru a Marshall JTM 45/100 sound, 

or you can if you want dial in a mid 70's Plexi.

The Neck/middle PU sound is by far better then any MIAB I have ever heard.
