This is a second take on the Hornby Skewes Zonk Machine. There were indeed 3 different versions but not like the Big Muff with endless versions, LOL. The first was a slightly modified Tone Bender v.1.
We get a layout of Volume, Gain and Tone. As usual the pedal is hand made with an overly healthy amount of vintage transistors etc. Yet, ...it has all the mod-cons we expect of a Fuzz these days.
CONCLUSION___ I would be surprised if it 'did not' sound great.
In short we get no bad surprises.
The big seller for me is I hear sounds on some killer classic Tone Benders but on this you can lock them in and play a tune no mater where the changes take it, sing the vocals and not worry about drop outs and
crazy outside interference screwing with the sound.
