Not rocket science just use a smaller enclosure and an old 308 chip and you have a nano RAT.

The layout is a basic Volume, Gain and Tone. 

 

CONCLUSION ___ 

It has that mellower tone of the first 300 Rat pedals ever made. They sold out after a year or so. Nearly all recordings we all heard and wanted a Rat were made using a RAT II. 

The 308 on the video sounds more like a  medium gain Fuzz. 

I kept foolishly expecting a rip your face off Rat II sound.
