NO ONE OWNS ME___ I MAKE ZERO $ FROM THIS
Two years ago Caline had over 60 pedals on their site. Many were mostly sold to the small stores in China who put them on-line at Ali-Express. They still do this but they have pulled about 80% off their site. They are trying to move upmarket and get a more Pro image. Marketing for them was done on current models. If a model sold well but became dated like the Caline Sand Storm they literally changed its name. It then became part of the 'all new' line, lol. you can still find old stock of the Sandstorm but at for $60 ???
The layout is Volume, Gain, Tone and Presence.
CONCLUSION ___
When the Sand Storm came out the vibe was all about it being a Metallica sound. There are many Metallica sounds, LOL. At best it is a basic early
Thrash sound and the dozens of sub genres that followed. In short a
useful noise in the Over-boosted-MIAB category.
All these pedals are a spin off from the original Marshall Guv'nor pedal.
The Australian MI Crunch pedal is the version that JHS and most others cloned.
I am impressed. Very Pro sounding and can sit on a board with the big boys
