BLACK FUDGE
Basically a 70's Maestro MFZ-1 Fuzz. Not to be confused with the 62 Classic FZ-1 Fuzz Tone. The MFZ-1 was designed by Synth guru Bob Moog and is an OpAmp Fuzz with a near OD like vibe. More of a hardclipper than a Fuzz.
CONCLUSION ____It has its own vibe. Does it sound original, No! LOL. It sounds better. The original is noisy and has mostly low mids and a bit muddy. It is a gutsy chunky, fat in your face OD and has plenty of bite. For a handmade in U.S. pedal it is damn cheap.
