UMBRELLA COMPANY MAYONNAISE FUZZ
Small Japanese company with a take on a Muff
The layout has the standard Volume, Gain and Tone.
A toggle labeled Doping gives you a mid range boost or scoop.
Another called 1979 switches between normal and an OpAmp Pumpkin Muff.
CONCLUSION ___
It is all Muff if you want a lot of aggression The mid boost provides the a huge fat sound if you need it. You can pull back on the gain with what is for a Fuzz mellow wall of sound thing. Better than the E-H OpAmp Fuzz. Impressive!
It sounds great! Where is it possible to buy it in Europe?
ReplyDeleteI looked around Garry but all I could find is the Japanese site and buying direct.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that the tell that it's a Japanese company is the Mayo picture is akin to being squeezed from a Kewpie bottle as opposed to a glob of mayonnaise (to be fair Hellman's et al have squeeze bottles now as well).
ReplyDeleteMillions of Americans prefer Kraft Miracle Whip that looks like mayo but has no eggs in it. Mayo is all about eggs. What do think Garry ...does that mean Miracle Whip has 'modeled' ingredients and are eggs simply tubes/valves that are edible? LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL!
