Another Tube Screamer? Yes and definitely NO. Actually it sounds a lot like the right hand side of a King of Tone. Enough said.lol
The layout is volume, gain, treble, bass and a blendable clean. A switch lets you set the pedal to post gain or pregain if you want more saturation. A 2nd footswitch gives you a boost.
CONCLUSION
I like it a lot. But it is pricey and I own a
68 Pedals King of Clone.
In a blindfold test as I gave the test to a guy
who choose the KOC over the King of Tone
because after several, yes after several
listenings he thought it was just a hair
fatter. lol
