I really enjoyed browsing around the Kink site. I eventually gave a listen to them all. They were all pretty good but a few were exceptional.
The 'Hate' is based off of a Russian Big Muff but they have added a mid boost and switches for a LED clipping diode to smooth it out and a Germanium transistor to really upset the mix. On one hand it has the smoothness of a great OD but at the same time you get the spits and sputter and splatter of a germanium Fuzz.
Between the mids boost and to die for lows the whole thing
hits you like a tank!
CONCLUSION
There are few very fat Fuzz pedals. But no doubt about it this is King. Listen not only how fat the sound is but it is tight too!!
Total killer Fuzz.
