It uses cascading gain stages which usually the secret to getting that 'feel' thing.It is a low to medium gain pedal. The layout is Volume, Treble, Bass and a switch for Vintage and Modern voicing. It has a Boost labeled Brit & Flat that gives you 2 more voicings as well.CONCLUSIONThe sound is very natural and open with an airy transparency. That said the boost can push the sound into total breakup with a tad harsh but cool bite. Made in Australia $235.00 USD
