Our builder I believe is John Esterly from Columbus Ohio. He makes hand
made hole through constructing pedals. The best of modern and vintage build as it is easy to repair and realistic to modify.
He has a whole line of 1970 Series coming out with prices like $110.00 on several. I am waiting on some demos. This one appears to be a deluxe model as others are simpler and in standard Hammond B boxes.
LAYOUT
The layout is on the Distortion side is Gain , Filter and Level. It appears to be a take on a Rat OpAmp OD. A toggle lets you switch between, Silicon, LED or Schottky diodes. The High-octave side is Gain Boost , Octave blend and Octave boost. The toggle switches between Germanium diodes and Schottky diodes. The amount of thought for all this is damn impressive.
CONCLUSION ____
It is a take it or leave it pedal. The Rat side is a very good hardclipper distortion but several MIC budget pedals do as well.
The octave side is up to you. I find a little goes a long way, lol.
