COMPRESSOR- MOSKY AUDIO C4 Compressor ...a Keeley 4 knob clone? Yes, ...$25.00

MOSKY AUDIO

$25.00 USD
on AliExpress Super 1999 Store
Well straight off I have had a few Mosky pedals. All good or to the point usable. Mostly 9 out of 10 against the name brands. So at some point one wants that other 10%...
Like the Keeley you get Sustain which on full is a 4 to one ratio. It is a basic studio standard but these days many comps can go from 4 to 12 so you can
use things like 12 for infinite sustain for wall of sound effects. That said 4 to 1
is that just right clean sound setting. You can even leave it as an always on at that setting. The Level is enough to even boost. The Clipping is really just a preamp volume in. Not so much as a dirt boost as a way to not overload active PU's that would blow the sh@t out of the pedal. The Attack is to delay the comp from kicking in so your get that nice full attack when your pick hits a string instead of squishing the balz out of it.
CONCLUSION __
I use 4 compressors because I have my pedals in 3 separate loops. Each loop has its own compressor. So even if you move up to an all bells and whistles super comp this could even be handy to have as a second.
At the price of $25 (& I included shipping) it is a no brainer buy. Someone will always give you $25 for a comp especially when it is although entry level
it is entry level pro.
