This has been around forever, I can track it back for 13 years but it could be more. C.M. has always been about checking the boxes of what players hated about a type of pedal but also what they loved and did not want to sacrifice.
The layout of Level, Gain, Treble, Mid and Bass give you a lot of shaping but the Deep and High functions allow you to literally revoice the unit into many other kinds of Fuzz. The unit comes with sample settings to give you several basic sounds different enough to be several different pedals.
CONCLUSION ___
It covers a lot of bases yet its very straight forward layout and patch charts as guides makes it easy to learn how to get all it can do a reasonable reality. Considering its word of mouth has kept it a current product for years it is strangely under the radar while ordinary Fuzz boxes with nothing but added and near useless gimmicks keep getting our attention.
