The company is been making mostly amps since 1983. They won a few awards and are know for both their high quality but cheaper prices. The company boasts they are musicians for musicians.

There are 3 pedals in the Guitar Engine line.

Vintage low to medium gain, classic hard rock medium gain and high gain 80's Metal.

They all have a chunky fat sound with excellent dynamics and a great attack. 

They are indeed amp like though not a specific brand like MIAB.

You get the basic volume, gain and level but you also get a presence switch and a foot switchable boost. It is hard to resist the vintage enclosure.

CONCLUSION

Excellent build and sound, looks cool and priced to go!
