GUITAR- VOX Bobcat S66 Bigsby ...a reissue from the 60's but better, a lot better!!!

VOX S66 BOBCAT S66 BIGSBY
1960's original
I will not review Vox's history other than to say that when the Beatles used Vox amps anything with the Vox name stamped on sold big time. The result oddly enough was some was some innovative designs but the build was from very poor to total junk, lol.
The company was divided over time and sold to get rich quick charlatans or mismanaged by morons.
These days thanks mainly to a single Amp the Vox AC30 the company is always given another chance.
This time they decided to get it it right with a Korean made high quality effort.
$1400.00 USD
You get a Gibson type ES 335 body both in shape and size. It has the expected maple body with a 25" scale (PRS like) mahogany neck and a cedar center block. Quality open tuners and vintage Vox PU's which are half way between a Strat and a Burns. A licenced Bigsby completes the package.
CONCLUSION
It is made in Korea with a built quality one has now learn to respect. At $1400.00 it is not cheap but you are getting at minimum a guitar if US made would cost over $2500.00 USD plus.
Even if Vox yet again pulls out of even making guitars it will be highly unlikely not to increase in value over just a few years.
