Hudson Electronics in the UK took a preamp design used for 60's broadcast consoles consisting a germanium transistor and a transformer gave it a few tweaks and made a dirt pedal that goes from transparent cleans to stupid nasty break up which can be more nasty than any Fuzz but great fun. Although pricey it has been popular for years. It is often stacked on other dirt pedals as a booster when tearing off someones face seems appropriate. lol.

It was a big hit with nerds and amateur bedroom Rock enthusiasts but soon critics were talking about it in reverent hush tones and decided it was for lack of descriptors an 'Art Pedal' worthy of the Hall of Fame pedals like the Tube Screamer, the Klon and the King of Tone. Yes folks another embarrassingly overrated pedal. But at $285.00 USD it can be yours :-)

CONCLUSION

Handy Fx have done a good job on the build a great job on the graphics and a fair price. Best of all it is something different yet highly usable which makes it irresistible. What's not to like about that!
