But? The Boss SD-1 is too but the big difference is the clipping diodes on the Boss give it a noticeable tube amp vibe because unlike a ts with symmetrical distortion the Boss has asymmetrical distortion like that from a tube.The diodes are on a switch so to be fair the pedal may do both but the videos sound otherwise.
CONCLUSION
Zero complaints with anything but the price!!! It sounds great but it is still an OpAmp pedal not a pedal with cascading JFETS. WTF!!!
You don't pay a Ferrari price no matter how nice your Corvette is!!!
Buy a Boss SD-1. I got mine a year ago 'new' for $45.00 USD.
The Flattery & the Boss use the same basic ts schematic.
Small differences aside what do you get worth $200 more??
Note: only the black paint job is different
on the anniversary edition.
The yellow one is the same pedal.
