Based on the Train Wreck Express amps of the late Ken Fischer who died in 2006 is the TDRIVE. pedal. The amps were single channel low output that were loosely based off of a 59 Marshall Super Lead that could run on either EL84's or 6L6 power tubes.The amp was actually simplified to make it deliberately unstable so it was always bordering on feedback. Without precise playing and dexterous hand muting it quickly became uncontrollable. It had a massive sound with the harmonics pouring out of the entire mid range.
Thankfully the TDRIVE is not so uncontrollable. It does however break up like an amp on the edge. It gives you that
feeling of needing to hold back hard on the reigns.
A rather impressive dirt box with a lot of variation for a
two knob box.
