Yes ...it started life as that 'green pedal.' This pedal is why so many pedals start with the topography of a Tube Screamer. Just change

the clipping diodes and you get a Boss SD-1.

The layout is Gain, Damping typically a high pass filter, Headroom usually means more voltage and volume. You get full EQ with Treble, Mids, Bass and Prescence. A switch gives you the classic ts symmetrical distortion or a tube like asymmetrical distortion. another switch gives a Class A or A/B circuit.

CONCLUSION ___
Well you get a your moneys worth, lol. In the end features do not make great sound. With this one that is subjective. That said if you use all this pedal has you are likely heading to a fairly loaded dirt sound. In short at least a healthy Crunch. For that I like some serious character so I would reach for a MIAB.
