OVERDRIVE- CATALINBREAD RAH (Royal Albert Hall OD) ...hot rod HiWatt ???

catalinbread
 RAH
$200.00 USD
In 1970 Page with ZEP did a gig at the Royal Albert Hall in London UK.
I have been there many times. To see Rock, Fusion and classical greats. It has perfect acoustics.
Sorry, I digress, lol.
He used a hot rodded HiWatt rig. This is a 13 year old take on that rig.
The layout is Volume, Gain, Treble and Bass.
      CONCLUSION ___
Page mainly used a Plexi. I fail to see the point of it unless
it had the essential HiWatt sound. I owned one for a couple
of years. A HiWatt is dead clean but it sounds massive. The bass sound literally shakes and vibrates everything in a room.
In a house rehearsing it sounds like a small earthquake has
hit the building. This pedal only hints at that vibe. If you
want Page your money is better spent on a good MIAB.

  1. I have a Bearfoot Model H 3K, another HiWatt themed drive pedal. Into a somewhat cooking amp it is magnificent.

I can hear hints of it in the Catalinbread RAH demo, it's Pagey-ish but lacking in sheer WALLOP. Maybe a cooking amp or low gain drive after it will provide the lift?
