Everyone does a Bluesbreaker, so, why not the French company Anasonds, lol.

So what's different. Well, the layout will tell us. You get the basic Volume, Gain and Tone. But you get Voice, a Bright/Damp toggle and on another toggle you get a second stage of gain. 

   CONCLUSION ___ 

It started life as a OD choice, of it, or, a Tube Screamer. Both being more of a clean boost than anything but I expect to soon see a high gain Metal version, or in other words many have become beefed up and are really in the Boss Blues Driver category of a medium gain hardclipper.
