It is like having a keyboard player playing huge symphonic choirs of sounds along with your playing. It looks daunting but has 22 voices and 11 places to store your presets that makes it very user friendly. In short you can play tunes with them not only make Star Wars rocket crashes and explosions.
CONCLUSION __
The company is 3 fully qualified engineers who play guitar who got together in 2009 and knew they could make some killer unusual but USABLE guitar pedals. Yes it is very high tech but the idea was not to make them dirt cheap to make thousands with a high profit but to be able to make them affordable.
I have used their IR box since 2020 it was 1/3 the price of the average competition and others did not interface like just a pedal on your board going into to a combo like this could. I still us it as an always on box to make my 1x12 cab sound like a Dual/Rec. Sounds great and zero problems. Best parts, well made.
