This is another pedal in a line of pedals taken from a full featured pedal and stripped down to the basics. It has the 'must haves' and interfaced with bold simple controls perfect for any live performance. It is meant to simulate a Leslie cabinet original meant to be teamed up with an Organ. A Rock stable for years was a a Hammond B3 organ with a Leslie cab.
The layout is Speed, of the modulation, Blend is a wet/dry control.
A toggle adds Mid Boost for fullness and cut. Drive adds the dirt sound created from a cranked Hammond organ. A second footswitch adds a Slow/Fast function between 2 fixed speeds. All this to imitate the real wooden cabinet LESLIE Speaker with mechanical parts to create the movement of the speaker and horn rotating in opposite directions.
CONCLUSION __I think the idea is brilliant. I do have a beef. For me it wouldbetter as a small, not larger pedal as those that need it mostwant smaller not larger boards. On the plus side it soundsexcellent.
___It is #1 for the 'best value' for $ in the Rotarychoices.
Mooer & their re-brands like Rowin which were usable are gone!Having checked thoroughly there are zero budget pedals that do a'just Rotary' pedal. There are many lo-fi modulation pedals withRotary as one of several options. In short they are crap if youwant something both convincing and good.
thefineprintthe infamous Roto Vibe was the first but technically failed attempt to create a Leslie cab sound. It simply became it's own thing. So much so the Rotary pedal can be on the same board to use more like a Chorus pedal.
It sounds very good. Unfortunately the Nux roctary is no longer available...
