A simple concept. It simply uses a spinning gear. You have
a switch to choose linear or audio taper. Linear is the actual voltage. Audio taper is used on your guitar pots. It is meant to sound how your ear perceives how loud or quiet the sound is.
CONCLUSION ___The best volume has everything to do with your body/foot/leg and even your balance. The one that works the best for me is a carbon plastic thing that Schaller brought out in the 50's that I bought for $15.00, lol.
