Jack Deville has been making pedals in Portland Oregon since 2012. He was Josh Scott's go-to when he started out JHS and got into a problem trouble shooting his own designs. He has always ignored fashion and made things old school which means both high quality parts but a bullet proof build that can have the crap kicked out of it and still work, lol. He came up with many innovations like using split rail power supplies to allow for the best dynamics. The oldest pedal on my board is his JDS50 overdrive. I do not do a lot of strumming but if I do I use it as strumming is all about dynamics to be dynamic and indeed effective. It is what the Deuce Coup is all about.

The layout is Level, Tone, Gain and Boost.  

 

CONCLUSION ___ It has a very full open sound that responds to your touch. 

It all comes with a very early 50's tube like sound and definitely dynamics.
