PICK A GATE ???
The only thing I can add is that if you like me need to change the gate's controls for different OD's and Fuzz etc. between tunes you will need a single knob type gate. You can neither see the knobs or dial in several knobs at a live gig both fast and accurate. Especially with the lighting and the needed time taken often being an issue.
If you need a total chopped off signal as use in Dgent and other high gain genres than choose accordingly.
The Demon FX Filtration II G string is a $50.00 USD clone of the Decimator II G String and may be worth investing. My guess is it is likely at least the best of the cheapies.
The trouble with most videos is a gate needs to be played with your rig and your touch and dynamics when you hit the strings. One last thing. The hot one is the REVV G8. I have one and it does a perfect job but it likes to be dialed in dead right. If you have a set and forget situation with one noisy thing never needing a change. Go for it. If you are the opposite than the two G String choices are your best hope.
