KEELEY ELECTRONICSMUSE DRIVERJust like last year just days begore NAMM. Andy Timmons gets a signature version of a Blues Driver. I supose it is a V.2 plus, lol.It starts with the Boss Blues Driver topography but uses germanium clipping diodes. The layout is Level, Gain and Tone. One switch cuts lows another switch chooses germanium orsilicon sound. The unit runs a JFET tube like sound intandem with the OpAmp Blues driver circuit.CONCLUSION ___ It quite simply has a mix of Boss OD with Tube sound FETs and germanium Fuzz all in one cocktail. It must be judged on its own merit. You love it or not, LOL.
the fine print
...the pedal sounds great but dirt pedals take up room in the mix. A good Dumble pedal
takes up the same space as this. I prefer the chime on a Strat that a good Dumble lets
thru that this does not. In short I do not need both so I would steer Dumble.
The J. Rockett Dude is the same price. It is worth comparing before jumping on the Muse.
