This is meant to be a Marshall Super lead/1959 model-in-a-box. Like most MIAB pedals they are an exaggerate overblown impression of a Marshall obtained from old recordings where the studio has done their magic. Add to that a few Rangemasters Boosters and Tonebender Fuzz were their to help. The layout is Gain, Tone, Presence and Volume. A toggle Tight brings in a high pass filter and another Focus is boost that adds poke.
CONCLUSION ___
It is damn impressive. There are 3 kinds of a MIAB, One goes for dead accuracy of the amp, one leans towards dynamics, touch sensitivity and a tad a warmth. They are the 'cork sniffers' favorites, lol. A 3rd is about WOW factor, all else be dammed. I own more than one of all 3,😇.
This has a very nice mix of all these approaches.
It is very much a bullet proof choice for a guy that
does not have a MIAB.
