I have no idea of computers in general so I will not even try
to B.S. my way thru telling you that I do.😠...LOL, LOL.I do know that several guitar amp/FX Modeler companies are already working to team up with this consumer grade Super computer product to give us more realistic modeling. If nothing
else the feel and expression of a real tube amp, etc. needs sorting out. The H-100's will be released in May 2025.

I still have a just released 1982 IBM PC modelI bought the day it hit the stores & it still works.

It's just nvidias attempt to dump their new hardware in every market possible. Possibly some guitarist nvidia dev told the marketing guys, that amp capturing can be done with AI. Now nvidia HAS to tell the world their stuff is great for it. AI-specialized hardware is nvidia main business at the moment

As I recall it is a discontinued Harmonic Percolator. Basically a 2 transistor Fuzz with one germanium and one silicon transistor. I have review many, on a quick look I found 9, lol. My favorite is the Wyong Rd. No Mask. Huge rich sound with lots of bite and a bit of spit and spitter that stays in control. $135.00 USD. Damn!! ... I just gave it a fresh listen ...it impressed me so much I put it on my short list.
ReplyDeleteThere're many more of Nine of Swords pedals out there, mostly too expensive but they sound sick, very sick. Have at the moment a chance to get one for a decent price.

Hopefully I will see some hints on your side finding and getting the right pedals especially Fuzzes. They way to go could be the self soldering project since there's not much on the boards.
