PAUSE & EFFECTS
FETA Vox Tonebender Mkl
This guy has his sh@t together. He lives in hungry with a day job in IT & does what he loves most making pedals for fun. He does the classics we love but can not afford, and he does them right with NOS parts. He just gives a nudge here and there to make them better constructed and any bugs in the originals fixed. Beck, Page, Ronson and Townsend all used the Vox version. The layout is Level, Attack control that acts as a filter/tone control and a BIAS to fine tune the grit, growl and sputter.CONCLUSION ___If its authentic tone you have it.For a real handmade pedalit is a steal !!!
Thank you Paul! :)
ReplyDeleteThanx for giving me the heads up. I have been looking for a Tonebender Mk1 for myself but any that impress me are at the cheapest are at least $250 ish. This will be on my short list. At the moment I am sorting out a small power amp to run my Friedman IR-X Tube Pre. I won't sell my Plexi but I need a light small rig for very small clubs that book original material bands. These places are mostly folkies with a Martin etc. playing to a sit down crowd I can not be hauling in a half stack Plexi. The Friedman can be set to clone my Plexi sound but it needs a Modeler's rig for an amp.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get it
DeleteSmitty Pedals is still around and makes quality fuzzes. I’ve had his TB MK1.5 now for almost 20 years. Handwired with OC75s It’s sparkles up to about 9 o’clock then rocks. These do seem promising
