It is mini pedal made by Biyang who are the Old Man of Chinese pedals.
They make quality stuff. It is a silicon Fuzz with a really fat smooth sound.
The kind of Fuzz you can use to substitute for an OD. If you aren't into even
browsing the odd budget pedal you would miss it. It sounds amazing.
It is really well made and it takes F. all space on your board.
Don't think about it...skip McDonalds a couple of times and it's yours!!!

If I had to choose what Fuzz I thought was the best in the world this would be
on my short list. I may choose another but If you said I got it wrong and this
is the best ...I would not even bother defending my choice. LOL
KMISE ULTIMATE DRIVE killer ?
It's a mini pedal. It quite simply sounds like an ENGL Powerball clone. To be honest it is improbable they were that focused in designing it to be anything but a getcha by cheapy.
The other Kmise pedals all sound like crap. It sells for $17.00 USD. ...Yes you read that right!
So if you are thinking that thru some major dumb luck that you are getting a killer Metal pedal for next to nothing??? Surprise! You are right! I ordered one!

A Fuzz/OD it echo's the EH Triangle Fuzz but with a FET circuit too. It has a very heavy Dave Gilmour vibe. It easily rivals pedals at 3 times it's price! I ordered one!!

A company famous for their unusually accurate clones. This time they zeroed in on the Carl Martin Plexitone 'single' then singled out it's fat resonant setting for the single sound of the pedal. Smart idea getting just a single thing right in a budget pedal gives you one dead accurate pro sound rather than several amatuer sounds. I ordered one!
GOKKO AUDIO GK-21 SONIC BONE DISTORTION
A new Italian company that like TC Electronic has their pedals made in China.
This gem is a high gain Brit pedal. The upper mids, highs and excellent sustain is what it all about. It is the missing ingredient to am amp with a great crunch sound. It also works great stacked on a medium gain OD pedal. I see it as the ultimate Boost pedal. at $50.00USD you get a lot for your buck.

VS AUDIO AFTERMATH DISTORTION
A Greek company that has been big in Europe for years.
I think of them as the European Wampler. lol There is usually
a few years before they release a pedal. I feel they not only like
all makers want a great pedal but it also has to have some personality.
I define that as stretching the rules of the norm but not breaking them.
In short they make a killer Metal pedal that is not in your face but
punches out authority while floating in an ethereal mist. :-D
COMPRESSOR/BOOSTER DRYBELL UNIT 67
Back on Sept. 21,2018 I predicted that this Swiss Army Knife unit that started with what most players would think of as a Origin Effects Cali 76, a Rangemaster treble booster and an EQ
would be altimate always on pedal that would be the 'must have' pedal.

How do the Aleks K Red Scorpion match up to the Lichtlaerm Gehenna and VS Audio Distortion?
ReplyDeleteThe Scorpion is in a different camp it more like a Friedmans BEOD only fatter. It is an 80's sound It is not what I would call Modern Metal. The LG & VS have a lot more gain.

Deletebtw Have you tried the MI Audio Megalith Delta? It has a load of gain on tap.
ReplyDeleteYes I had one about 3 years ago. I have 70 pedals on two boards patch together with one small patchbay on each board so they work as one super Jumbo extra large board. LOL You can only run such a board with running all the pedals at unity gain. In short they all have to have the volume/level knob set to the same loudness. The MI likes to run hot. It sounds cool and is built like a tank. It was an expensive mistake.LOL
