Mike Piera started his on-llne site in 2007. The company are famous for their King Of Tone OD. It has a waiting list of almost 2 years. Both the KOT and Sun Face are modern classic's.
The company is small with a group of employees dedicated to their craft.
They hand make every pedal and offer a series of mods you can get for any pedal.
They also modify and hotrod pedals from other makers. If a pedal gains a rep and is still available they have a set of mods for it. They also buy, restore and sell old pedals.
The Sun Face is a case in point. You can add up to $55 more to the price by choosing rare NOS transistors.
Fortunately most will only add $10 to $20 more for your pedal.
You get a choice of 19 different transistors which are both silicon and germanium.

The pic is the founder and owner Mike Piera. The place is tiny but they squeeze in over 600 vintage pedals. When you order your pedal. They then make your pedal. If anyone is not busy they just make another King of Tone pedal. LOL There is nothing done that even hints of assembly line methods. LOL They can only keep a small handful of pedals in stock.
CONCLUSION
This an old school gem. Made for a player.
There is nothing avant garde or ambient with this one.

Note: the model that the Pedal Show guys settled on was the N2.
It has no extra charge. LOL
